Our Social Program is a dynamic blend of drill-based training, gameplay style drills and gameplay, tailored for athletes of various skill levels. The distinct Beginner and Intermediate sessions cater to all, ensuring everyone's time is maximised. So whether you wanting to refine your skills for your social team or completely jump into a new fun sport this is for you.

🏐 Beginners Welcomed with Open Arms

Overview: For those with a little to no familiarity with volleyball but hungry for skill-based training, our Beginner time slot is your playground for improvement.

Focus: Reps, fun, and gameplay is what this program focuses on. Dive into the thrill of group drills and elevate your game with a focus on gameplay rather than just skill development.

Expectations: Beginner players on Sundays can have little to no history in the sport and this program aims to facilitate you learning these basics. Coaches will guide you through the basics and get you serving, rallying and winning points in no time.

πŸš€ Intermediates Elevate Your Game

Progression: Intermediate sessions, a natural step forward from Beginners, or a sweet spot for athletes familiar with the sport. Tailored for rally-based skill levels, these sessions offer continuous gameplay, loads of fun and another stepping stone in your volleyball career.

Recommended for: Players craving additional gameplay and training within a social and participatory environment. State League Level athletes often join, providing a unique learning and playing experience.

Focus: Similar to Beginners, gameplay takes precedence, but technical corrections are a focus from our coaches. It's about enjoying the game and enhancing skills in a social setting.

Expectations: If you're not quite ready for our State League programs or are just wanting to improve your technique and gameplay this programs aims to prepare you for just that!

🌟 Junior Development ProgramsπŸπŸš€

At LTUVC we have 3 dedicated Junior Training & Development Programs, specially crafted for young athletes on their volleyball journey from primary to high school! We've got three fantastic sessions lined up for the new year, creating a dynamic, welcoming and personalised learning experience.

Our Junior Training Programs are designed to kickstart and nurture the volleyball passion in young minds. With two separate development sessions, players can enjoy a smaller group format, surrounded by like-minded peers, creating an ideal environment for skill development without the pressure of comparisons. And then our competitve Junior State League Program is aimed to build teamwork as teams battle it out against other clubs.

🌈 Beginner Junior Program

For Ages: Primary School to High School Aged Athletes; with little to no volleyball experience.

Training Focus: Step into a 'learn-to-play' session! This program focuses on isolating and training fundamental skills with a keen eye on setting, passing, hitting, blocking, and serving. In a smaller group format, players receive direct one-on-one coaching to hone their technique for consistency.

Fun Fact: Players engage in activities and drills using modified equipment and rules, ensuring a fun, safe and skill-packed learning journey. The goal? Equip players with the skills to confidently transition to the next level of the Junior Program.

πŸš€ Junior Program

For Ages: Middle - High School Aged Athletes; with moderate volleyball experience. Exceptions will be made for Primary School athletes with higher skill levels

Training Dynamics: Our traditional Junior Program is a blend of skill and game-based training, perfect for players ready to work as a team in a more competitive setting. While there's a high focus on skill acquisition and technique correction, the program acts as a developmental path for those eyeing the Junior State League Program with the La Trobe Eagles or simply looking to boost their skills and game play.

🀝 Opt-in Tournaments

Stay tuned for Junior Tournaments at the end of each school term, adding an extra layer of fun and competition. These are available to the Junior Program and Beginner Junior Program participants. It's the perfect opportunity to showcase skills honed in training sessions. Participation is optional, so your child can choose to join in the tournament excitement or stick to skill training and game-play drills.

πŸ† Junior State League

For Ages: U15's, U17s & U19's

Trainings: Players will be in teams with others their age and trainings will focus on learning about gameplay, positioning and continuing to hone-in on skills. We encourage parents to become engaged with this program to also learn about the sport your kids are playing!

Competitions: 2024 will be the inaugral year for this tournament/league but teams will compete in a Eastern conference against other club teams on a weekly basis. This is all the information that we know at this point, but we can keep you more informed as we get for infomation.
